Interesting article and research by e-Marketer, about demographics and profiles of bloggers. The following table says it all:

Berghain Berlin, originally uploaded by bartvanpoll.

Yesterday we’ve been to the very cool Berlin nightclub Berghain.

Techno / Electro DJ’s Ricardo Vilalobos and Ulrich Schnauss playing electro-acoustic music, with people laying on the floor instead of dancing. Very special!

But especially the building is fantastic. Very industrial, very Berlin!

Check out the rest of the pictures in the set.

We saw Michael Franti & Spearhead yesterday in “Kato” Berlin. Great little concert hall, about one fifth of the Paradiso Amsterdam. So it was an intimate concert. And it was good!

Also one of my first concerts in a concert hall where no smoking was allowed: Michael Franti asked everybody to refrain from smoking. The sweat fumes got more intense every five minutes…

Since I saw the quote “It’s not the destination, not the journey” on the leadsinger’s t-shirt of one of my favorite bands, Coparck, I’ve used it a lot.

I’ve always wanted to know who made the original quote. Now I finally got to looking into it. Apparently it’s Don Williams jr, who-ever that may be.

Also on my quest I found this self-esteem building workshop titled “It’s not the destination, not the journey”. Apparently people with a low self-esteem are intrigued by this quote… Maybe I can go there with the Coparck leadsinger.

Just listened to my ex KREM colleague Thijs Sprangers, on BNR radio. Paul van Liempt interrupts every sentence twice, but Thijs tells the story about the benefits of Alumni Communities very well.

KREM is doing well by the way! They recently chose to focus solely on corporate social networking and get rid of the “traditional” website projects. A good choice I think, and it’s already paying off with workshops about Corporate Social Networking at ABN Amro and Fortis for example (see the blog).

Here’s the link to the BNR show with the interview
