After Willem Vink’s tip on the Paris cityblog We visited the Fondation Cartier, a very cool museum funded by Cartier.
The exposition they have now (until March 2009) deals with immigration. Especially cool was the 360 degrees digital video representation of migration in the world. I shot a few video’s, but there’s more to see on their website.
Just go my Dopplr yearly report in. According to them, our travels produced about 4,415 kg of CO2. That’s half a Hummer…. But they haven’t taken into account we’re driving a very economical Opel Astra.
Last week, I skated in Holysloot and Randsdorp, close to Amsterdam.
Almost every Amsterdam local dreams about skating on the ice on the canals at least once in his or her life.
It was almost possible in Amsterdam, until a stupid Meijers rondvaartboten captain (who didn’t know the Keizersgracht was closed off) destroyed the ice.
It’s a hot topic on the Amsterdam Centraal blog. Even the Skipper replied, and apologizes on the website! Very funny to read (in Dutch)
