Bart van Poll (1975)

I’m a fortunate person: My work consists of traveling to the greatest places in the world and meeting people. It gets even better: I do this with my wife, with whom I co-founded Spotted by Locals in 2008.

Before Spotted by Locals, I was a senior projectmanager/consultant at KREM, and (junior,senior) management consultant at Magnus Management Consultants (2001 – 2007)

On the personal side: When I’m not traveling (about 6 months of the year), I enjoy as much culture, music and drinks as I can in my hometown Amsterdam.

I very much prefer experiences over “things”, but I love the little dream house in Amsterdam Oud-Zuid we bought in 2005, and our sailing boat.
