Mobile Monday Amsterdam

It’s been about a year since I last visited a Mobile Monday Amsterdam (#MoMoAms) conference, one of my favorite conferences about new technology in Amsterdam. I always leave with a few pages of ideas in my notebook, and a lot of energy. Yesterday’s theme: the process of design.

My two favorites were definitely after the break:

Timo Arnall tried (and succeeded!) to let us think about designing interfaces without a mobile phone.

Matt Webb (Berg London) tried to predict the future after mobile by combining 4 developments he thinks are important:

Faces make understanding – people are better at understanding faces than numbers
Hard math for trivial things – today’s computing power is amazing.
Fractional artificial intelligence – AI is everywhere
Chatty interfaces – physical appliances and social networks will be connected

What’s after mobile? more mobile…

I hope MoMoAms will upload the presentations here, because I’d like to watch them again!

Te Koop: Stalen klassieke langkieler – Kustvaarder 1. Prachtig Koopmans ontwerp, in goede staat.

Deze Kustvaarder heeft een Teakhout interieur, een houten plafond met lijsten, 4 slaapplaatsen, een handmatig pomptoilet, een 2-pits kooktoestel op gas, een koelkast op gas, accu of walstroom en een sailmate marifoon.

Het schip heeft een ruime zelflozende kuip, is met hout afgetimmerd, en heeft een lange buiskap die veel beschutting geeft. Het dek van deze Kustvaarder is ruim, en de mast is snel strijkbaar.

De langkieler van staal heeft een Sabb diesel Motor, 10 pk, 2-blads schroef, schroefas vetgesmeerd, keerkoppeling en interkoeling,

Helmstok besturing, 7 zeilen, mast + giek van aluminium, rvs verstaging. anker, zwemtrap, buiskap, rvs zeereling, rvs potdeksel, blauwe kussens, 12v, walstroom aansluiting, watertank 100 ltr. Kompas, accu oplader, winterkleed.

Afmetingen: 8.35 x 2.55 x 1.30 m, 1,80 m stahoogte.
Waterverplaatsing: 5500 kg, doorvaarthoogte: 11.30 m, werf gebouwd.
